The projects we come to Fort Myers for
Fort Myers is a longer trip for us, so we plan it around projects that make full use of the day. Three kinds fit best. Several units in one visit: a row of condos, a small resort, a few houses under one owner or manager. A large home with the full package: photos, aerials and video together. A hotel or inn that needs its rooms, common spaces and grounds photographed in one consistent style. If you have one small condo and need photos only, a local photographer will serve you better, and we will tell you so.
What these homes need
Canal homes in Cape Coral are sold by the lanai, the pool cage, the dock and the boat lift, so we shoot them from the water side as well as the street. Beach properties on Fort Myers Beach and Sanibel are sold by the walk to the sand and the Gulf view from the balcony. We use wide lenses for space, HDR to keep the view in the windows, and we photograph the details guests ask about: kitchen equipment, beach gear, outdoor showers, sleeping arrangements for big groups.
Aerials and video
On this coast the aerial photo is often the lead image: it shows the canal, the Gulf access, the beach and the pool in one frame. We check airspace rules before every aerial shoot. Video is 60 to 120 seconds, edited with clean cuts and music, and works for the listing, the property website and social media.
How a series works
For several units we agree on the list and the order in advance, shoot them one after another, and deliver each unit as its own gallery so every listing gets its own set. A series is quoted as one project. Tell us how many units, their size, and what each one needs.
